Importance of HVAC System Leakage Testing (HSLT)

In the present market, companies confront strong competition.  There is always someone who is willing to do the same job at a lower cost claiming to have the same job quality.  Customers (Builders/Homeowners) most of the time look for the less expensive quote without knowing the importance of contracting a company that will deliver a high quality job, and with a written document how their work will perform.

The best way to assure that quality is to have a third party inspection/certification, with a HVAC System Leakage Test and performance analysis.

BENEFITS of the HSLT

  • You will close more sales by selling comfort, quality & peace of mind

  • You will reduce calls backs.  Less callback means less costs.

  • Your customer will know that your duct work was built with high quality

  • You will gain customer loyalty

  • You will differentiate from the competition

  • You will have the certainty that your crew is doing a quality job

  • You can take action on what crew is not doing their job like they supposed to.

Why do a HSLT?

  • To have a written document of the quality of your work, reduce call backs & increase customer satisfaction.

  • To protect yourself from other subcontractors errors. Ex. Someone can damage the duct work; unplug connections or damage them, drill holes thru the ducts, tear insulation, etc.

  • To offer more value to your customers.

*  SW-HER can work with your company so you can offer this service to your customers
